Marjorie Robinett Cannon

June 16, 1916 — November 3, 2007

Mrs. Marjorie Robinett Cannon, 91 of Lingle Farm Road, Lexington, died Saturday at Alston Brook Nursing Center. A Graveside Service will be held at Noon Thursday at the Robinett Family Cemetery in Brumley, Missouri conducted by Rev. Chris Dumas. Mrs. Cannon was born June 16, 1916 in Brumley, MO to Herman A. Robinett and Cynthia Rodden Robinett. She was a resident of Shawnee, Kansas for 56 years until moving to Lexington to make her home with her granddaughter, Sherry Jackson and her husband, Steve in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willard Cannon; and two sons: Willard Vernon Cannon and Charles Dwayne Cannon. Surviving are her son, Lonnie Ray Cannon; her daughter, Eva Carol Dupuis; her grandchildren: Charles Wade Cannon, Charles Wayne Cannon, Lonnie Ray Cannon, Jr., Kenneth Wade Cannon, Sherry Foxx Jackson, Verna Glover Whalen, Jayne Rosanne Huggins, Connie Jo Huggins, Willard Dwayne Huggins, and Michelle Renee Huggins; her great grandchildren: Cole Austin Cannon, Kasey Nicole Cannon, William Adam Jackson, Thomas Cole Jackson, Henry Ingalls Cannon, Charles Wayne Cannon, Katrina McClure, McKenzie Rae Cannon, and Lanigan Marjorie Whalen; and her great great grandchildren: Maddy and Elly Hoffhiners, 2 Brothers, Edgar “Junior” Robinett and Wade Vernon Robinett, Sister, Ellen Hier. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 prior to the graveside service at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia, MO.
