Mark Alexander Johnson

Mark Aleander Johnson, 53, of Rockway Drive Lexington, died Wednesday November 18, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Friday at Psalm 91 Church with Rev. Max Shoaf officiating services. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Friday at the church. Mr. Johnson was born November 21, 1961 in Davidson County to Delmar Wilson Johnson and Rachel LouiseWood Johnson. Mark was a loving husband and father who in his spare time enjoyed playing his guitar and singing and had a special love for his four legged friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lavonne Segers and Debbie Trent. Surviving is his wife, Joy Johnson of the home; a daughter Ashley Southern and husband Paul of Winston Salem; a brother, Jimmy Johnson of Lexington; two sisters, Linda Freedle and husband Rick and Cathy Leonard and husband Neal, all of Lexington; one grandchild, Bailey Southern; and two brother-in-laws David Segers and Jerry Trent. Davidson Funeral Home is in Charge of Cremation Services.
