Mark Sarver

Mark Davis Sarver, 62, of Thicket Drive, Lexington died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Hinkle Hospice House after four years of declining health. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, just prior to the service and other times at the home of the daughter, Chelsea and Matthew Jernigan. Mr. Sarver was born December 7, 1950 in Salem County, VA to Lawrence Palmer Sarver and Leah Hackworth Sarver. Mark was a Production Associate for Kimberly Clark and was of the Methodist faith. He was also an avid fisherman. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Lori Sarver. Surviving are his wife, Shirl Clark Sarver of the home; two sons, Thaddeous Sarver and wife, Tiffany of Iowa, Adam Sarver and Fiancee, Amber of Roxboro, NC; a daughter, Chelsea Jernigan and husband, Matthew of Lexington; four grandchildren, Aaron, Gabriel, Lawrence, Clay; and a sister, Deidra Sarver and husband, Lynn Jameson of Boonesmill, VA Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
