Mark Jackson Smith

Mark Jackson Smith, 57, of T.S. Payne Road, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 6 at his home.    A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, January 9 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Henry Watterson.  Burial will follow at Reeds Baptist Church Cemetery.    The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home.    Mr. Smith was born September 11, 1960 in Davidson County to Jackson Snider Smith and Sylvia Livengood Smith.  He was a truck driver for DRS Auctions in Advance and a member of Reeds Baptist Church.    He is survived by his parents, Jack and Sylvia Smith of Lexington; his sister, Beverly Cornatzer and husband, Kim, of Lexington; his niece, Autumn Snow and husband, Kelly; his nephew, Tyler Cornatzer; and his great nieces and nephews, Katie Grace Snow, Emily Snow, T.J. Snow, and Matthew Snow.    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reeds Baptist Church, 180 Reeds Baptist Church Road, Lexington NC 27295 or to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
