Marlene Watson Berry

Marlene Watson Berry, 81, of Linwood passed away January 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday January 15, 2022 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Charles A. Lindquist Jr. Service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . Burial will follow in the Greer's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was a member of Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked as a bus driver and office assistant with the Davidson County School System. Her passion was her faith, family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Berry who died 2005.As well as her brothers, Tommy Watson, "Buck" Watson and wife Mildred. Her sisters, Christine McDade and her husband, Mac, Priscilla Moody and her husband, Carroll. And her loving twin sister, Fostine Clontz.

The family will see friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Saturday January 15, 2022 at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Location.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Marty William Berry (Lisa) of Linwood; daughters, Tracy Neely (Barry Childers) of Salisbury; Brooke Berry of Linwood; and Tammy Graley (David) of Lexington; also surviving are her loving grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Kennedy, Rette, Sophie, and James, also are her two great grandchildren, McKenna and Cameron, her brother, Toby Watson (Tamara), and sisters, Vickie Walser (Wayne), Nancy Miller.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church 8195 Old Salisbury Rd., Linwood, NC 27299
