Martha Briggs

Martha Ann Briggs, age 76, of Briggstown Road, Lexington, died Saturday, June 28 at Wake Forest Baptist-Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 2 at Becks Lutheran Church with the Rev. Angie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister on Briggstown Road. Miss Briggs was born January 13, 1938 in Davidson County to Earlie Briggs and Odeal Chandler Briggs. She was a member of Beck’s Lutheran Church and retired from Lexington Furniture Industries. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Corinne Burris of Lexington and a nephew, Martin Burris of Lexington.
