Martha Cross Hill

Mrs. Martha Louise Cross Hill, 90, of Lexington, passed away on August 9, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will be missed more than words can express.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday, August 13 at Mt Zion Wesleyan Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Martha was a strong independent woman and a true fighter. She faced life with courage and determination, and she never gave up. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert Adam Cross; her two daughters, Kathy Cross and Donna Cross; and her sisters, Marie Hilliard, Linda Morrison and Jean Kepley.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Hedrick (Ricky), and Melinda Nance (Robert). She was a cherished grandmother to Priscilla Ridge, who she loved and cherished as her own daughter; her grandchildren, Krystal Hedrick, Joy Brooks and Teresa Johnson; her great grandchildren, Nicky Tartaglia White and Brandon Johnson.

Martha leaves behind a lifetime of memories that her family will hold on to forever. Although their hearts are broken by her passing, they find comfort in knowing that the love they shared will never die until we see her again.
