Martha Gober

Martha Smith Gober, 73, of Gray Mill Road, Lexington died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Lexington Health Care. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 2, 2015 at Forest Hill Memorial Park; burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm on Friday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. Mrs. Gober was born October 7, 1941 in Davidson County to David Henry Smith and Burnlee Davis Smith, whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and also a US Army Veteran. Surviving are three daughters, Vicky K. Alexander of Linwood, Peggy Susanne Cotter of Lexington, and Felicia D. Chandler of Sayre, PA; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Sue McCrary of Lexington.
