Martha Harrison Hill

Mrs. Martha Ann Harrison Hill, age 72, of Bent Creek Drive, Lexington, NC, died Monday, September 6 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Sept. 9 at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a lifelong member, conducted by Rev. Lewis Johns, Rev. Chris Henderson, and Dr. Paul Sorrells, the pastor at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, where she was a member for 13 years while she resided in Shelby. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Hill was born November 13, 1937 in Davidson County to Wade Harrison and Ethel Hedrick Harrison. She was a seamstress and last employed with S & M Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by brothers William Harrison, Tommy Harrison, Richard Harrison and Charles Harrison and by a sister, Ollie Pinyan. She is survived by her husband Horace Hill of the home, by a son Jeff Hill and wife, Vickie of Hope Mills, a daughter, Lisa Hill Prevette and husband, Ken of Linwood; brothers Jimmy Harrison and wife, Beverly, of Lexington, and Wade Harrison and wife, Helen, of Statesville; a sister Geraldine Harrison of Southmont, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
