Martha “Sissy” Lorene Kearns Wilson, 72, of Welcome, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The funeral will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, May 28, 2010, at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter on Kearns Drive. Mrs. Wilson was born in Davidson county on January 4, 1938, to Ernest Bowers Kearns and Mary Kathryn Everhart Kearns. She was the owner of Today’s Consignment in Lexington, beginning her business in 1994. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Bobbi Gail Kearns Echerd. Surviving are her husband, Larry Wayne Wilson of the home; daughters, Carletta Kearns, Tina Fulcher and husband, Todd all of Lexington; son, Carlton “Bubba” Owens and wife, Naomi “Suzie”; grandchildren, Hallie Rucker, Rachael Siddle Freedle, Jamie Siddle, Jeremy Owens, Faithe Owens, and Hank Fulcher; great-grandchildren, Tyler Rucker, Noah Sanders, Lance Freedle and Nevaeh Owens; brothers, Dean Kearns and wife, Luly, Bunk Kearns, Barry Kearns and wife, Marjie, Terry Kearns, Joe Kearns and wife, Sandy, Larry Kearns, Joel Kearns and a great-niece, Carly Wrenn.
