Martha Corpening Rollins

Martha Corpening Rollins, age 87, of Swing Dairy Road, Lexington passed away Sunday (April 17, 2011) at Lexington Medical Center. A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday (April 30, 2011) at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 130 Fuller Street, with John Castillo officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Martha was born in Caldwell County, NC to Edward Corpening and Blanche Michem Corpening. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Oscar Rollins, in 2009; and grandson, Randy Corpening. Surviving are one son, Leroy Corpening of Lenoir; her twin sister, Mary Corpening of Lenoir; three grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rollins family appreciates the loving care and attention she received in her last years given by her Kingdom Hall family which enabled her to remain active.
