Martha Whicker Sink

Martha Whicker Sink, 86 of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hebron United Church of Christ with Pastor Jim Shields officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Martha was born on March 14, 1928 in Davidson County to Roy Alexander and Ila Brendle Whicker. She was a member of Hebron United Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel Lewis (Bud) Sink, a son Donald Lewis Sink and eight siblings. Surviving is a son Danny Sink (Kathy) of Winston-Salem; daughters, Judy Gallimore of Winston-Salem, Terri Shore (Rick) of Midway; ten grandchildren, Alan Gallimore (Pam), Greg Gallimore, Todd Gallimore (Angel), Danny Kaye Sink, Jr. (Ameriah), Jerry Daniel Sink, Kendall Sink Slade, Laurie Smith (Brad Saintsing), Bradley Smith (Amanda), Brian Smith and Brennan Shore; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Hebron United Church of Christ, 129 Hebron Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
