Martha Stutts Walser

Martha Stutts Walser, age 86 of Center Church Road, Lexington passed away Saturday morning June 1, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Friendship United Methodist Cemetery with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. There will be no public visitation, however the family will greet friends and family at the cemetery following the graveside service.

Martha was born March 18, 1933 in Forsyth County to Erastus Emory Stutts and Mabel Ila Caudle Stutts. She was a member of Yadkin College United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Sara Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Hugh Walser on Ocotber 30, 2013 and her son, Willis Keith “Coach” Walser on September 29, 2013; a sister, Pansy Murphy and brothers, Clyde and Kay Stutts.

Surviving are her daughter, Shari Walser Herman of Welcome; grandson, Trey Herman (Hanna) of Welcome and several nieces and nephews.
