Martha Warfford

Martha Rae Warfford, 59, of CenterClair Nursing Center and formerly of Southmont died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Forsyth Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Billy Pearson, Rev. R. N. Hardin and Rev. Edgar Armfield. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Miss Warfford was born June 27, 1949 in Davidson County to Herbert R. Warfford and Vergie Hunt Warfford. She was a member of Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church and attended Stoner-Thomas School. She had been employed with Workshop of Davidson and was preceded in death by her parents and a great nephew, Alex Beuscher. She is survived by brothers, Dick R. Warfford and wife, Peggy, of Winston-Salem; Tony Warfford and wife, Johnnie, of Lexington; nieces, Andrea Thomas and Michelle Beuscher; nephews, Richard Warfford, Scott Warfford, Justin Warfford and Jarrett Warfford; four Great Nieces and two Great Nephews.
