Martha Sue Williams

Martha Williams age 71 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at her home.

A Family Gathering will be held 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, NC.

Martha was born July 7, 1950, in Davidson County to Lonnie Dunn and Dorothy Dunn. She was a lifelong resident of Lexington and a graduate of Lexington Senior High. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but also worked secretary position for different companies throughout her life, retiring from Cruse Trucking. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Clint Williams.

Surviving are the greatest love of her life for 53 years, husband John Williams, son Johnny Williams and wife Laura, daughter Penny Buchanan and husband Wayne, brother David Dunn, sister; Kay Louia, Shirley Worley, Janice Wallace, Beverly Spaugh, Donna Phillips, Diana Eddinger, 4 grandchildren; Amber Fennell (Kenny), Jacob Buchanan, Sierra Williams, Austin Williams, 2 step-grandchildren; Heather, Raymond, 3 Great grandchildren Addison, Aiden, Braylen and a host of nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Hospice in House Care Nurses.

She will leave us all with a lasting impression of her wit and charm, her great personality, and her way of making us laugh. She was loved by many that had the pleasure of knowing her and will be deeply missed until we meet again.
