Marven Maccay

Marven Allen MacCay, Jr, age 53, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Lexington City Cemetery with Pastor Stephen DeWalt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home of the son, Michael.

At the request of Marven, his family asks’ that you wear Cubs or Duke attire to his services in his memory.

Mr. MacCay was born in Michigan City, IN on May 23, 1966 to Marven Allen MacCay, Sr. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for Salem Carriers and was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are his wife, Marianne Kay Helwig MacCay of the home; his son, Michael MacCay (Rebecca)  of Lexington; four stepchildren, Anthony Saladrigas of Japan, Melissa Saladrigas, Kasondra Saladrigas and Sara Saladrigas all of Lexington; and three grandchildren, Sunshine, Buttercup and Princess.
