Mary Alice Wilbourne Harris

Mary Alice Wilbourne Harris, age 80 of Lake Street, Linwood passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017 at her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Ken Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Per her request, there will be no public visitation. Alice was born in Person County, NC to John Oliver Wilbourne and Rosa Lee Matthew Wilbourne. She was a member of Heaven’s Gate Full Gospel Church and a retired employee of PPG. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Annie Mae Owen, Sally Holbrook, Pattie Frick and Sue Wilbourne; brothers, Henry Wilbourne, John Wilbourne, Jr. and Frank Wilbourne. Surviving are her daughters, Dorothy Ann Burrow, and Linda Faye Whitlow (Robbie) all of Roxboro; Patricia Smith of Charlotte and Susan Flowers of Lexington; son, Franklin (Sid) Harris, Jr. (Dawn) of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Michelle Louya, Michael Burrow, Kendra Bailey, Jodi Burkholder, Jason Pardue, Matt Harris, Valerie York, Bobby Lanning, Josh Everhart, Justin Whitlow and Jay Whitlow; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Rosa Allen of Salisbury, Bettie Oha and Mamie Regan of Roxboro, Lizzie Wilder of Denton and Fannie Wilbourne of Charlotte.
