Mary Brinkley Heitman

Mary Elaine Brinkley Heitman, 86, of Sunbridge Nursing Home, formerly of Helmstetler Road, died Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Sunbridge Nursing Home. No services will be held. Mrs. Heitman was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Davidson County, to Daniel Webster Brinkley and Beulah Conrad Brinkley. She was a retired employee of Manhattan Shirt Co. and a member of Pilgrim Reformed United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Brinkley and Charles Brinkley; and two sisters, Virginia Leonard and Betty Wrenn. Surviving are two brothers, D.W. Brinkley and Tommy Brinkley, both of Lexington; and three sisters, Ruth Green and Helen Evans, both of Lexington, and Barbara Sumner of Jamestown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 318, Memphis, TN 38101.
