Mary Catherine Fulp

Mary Catherine Land Fulp, age 84, of River Landing at Sandy Ridge, formerly of Ridgecrest Drive, Lexington passed away Thursday morning (5-8-2008) in High Point Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Lexington conducted by Dr. Lee Zehmer. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Fulp was born in Rockingham County January 22, 1924 to Caleb Mc Cown Land and Margaret Fisher Land. She was a retired Registered Nurse with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, member of First Presbyterian Church where she was involved with the Girl Scouts, a circle leader and active with the American Red Cross. Surviving are: Husband; Walter Marion Fulp, Jr. of the home, daughter; Catherine Anne Fulp Friday and husband Paul of Pinehurst, son; Walter M. Fulp, III and wife Cathy of Lexington, two grandchildren; Dave and Laura Fulp, one sister; Mildred Juanita Land of Eden and one brother; Joseph Caleb Land of Stoneville.
