Mary Byerly Clark

Mary Edith Byerly Clark, 78 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at her home.

A private funeral service will be held on Monday, June 29 ^th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Beaver officiating.  Burial will follow at Midway Baptist Church.

Mary was born on May 17, 1942 in Davie County to Jacob Wood Byerly and Mary Branch Byerly.  She retired as a draftsman for W.A. Brown Associates and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Clark; a son, Billy Ray Frizzell and a granddaughter.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Stanley Ray Clark, of the home; stepson, Mark Frizzell, of Tarboro; daughter, Laura Clark Poole, of Lexington; stepdaughters, Trish Wright and Jo Carol Fegan, both of Winston Salem, Pamela Everhart, of Lexington; brothers, James Byerly of Lexington, Jerry Byerly and Ronnie Byerly, both of  Mocksville; sisters, Betty Byerly Potts and Brenda Lanier, both of Advance; and two grandchildren, Andrea Poole, Landon Carter; and five great-grandchildren.
