Mary Peck Decker

Mary Peck Decker 93 went to the arms of Jesus at the Regency Care of Clemmons on Sunday, July 16, 2017. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Parkway Chapel, 2651 Buchanan St., Winston-Salem, NC 27127 with Pastor David Rickert officiating.  Burial will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Sideling Hill Christian Church Cemetery, 10424 Sipes Mill Rd., Needmore, PA  17238.   A visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM.           Mary was born in Licking Creek Township, PA on August 27, 1923 to the late Dewey Walter Peck and Rebecca Sipes Peck.  She is a member of Parkway Chapel and was a Missionary Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Bruce Woodrow Decker, a son Rodney Decker, son-in-law Paul Bishop and a brother Wilmer Peck.   Surviving is a son Daniel Decker (Trisha) of TN; a daughter Janice Bishop of Winston-Salem; and sister-in-law Phyllis Peck; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Jubilee Ministry, P. O. Box 11621, Winston-Salem, NC  27116 and Child Evangelism Fellowship, Winston-Salem Chapter, 6047 Jeannine Dr., Lewisville, NC  27023.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
