Mary Dean Foltz

Mary Dean Hicks Foltz age 89 passed away Monday August 16, 2021 at home.

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Reedy Creek Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Ben Farrell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will see friends  from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mary Foltz was born June 6, 1932 in Davidson County to William Oscar Hicks and Bertha Mae Jeffries Hicks. She along with her husband, Joe Louis Foltz were charter members of Reedy Creek Baptist Church and retired from Hanes Hosiery in Winston Salem. She will be remembered as the most loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Louis Foltz, a son, Dean Louis Foltz and a son in  law, James (Gene) Wilson.

Surviving are Daughters: “Sherry” Hill Dean (C. Robin) of Clemmons, Kathy Wilson (Ronnie)of Clemmons and Paula Cochran of Mebane. Grandchildren: Dennis Lane Hill, Wendy Hill Marlow, Jeannette Elaine Craver, Christopher Joe Wilson and Elizabeth Danielle Holder. Also Surviving are six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
