Mary Hanes
June 14, 1928 — December 25, 2018
Mary Magdalene Hanes, 90, of Welcome-Arcadia Road, died Tuesday, December 25 at Forsyth Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Thursday, December 27 at Parklawn Memorial Park, by the Rev. Dr. Harold Fletcher.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30pm at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel.
Miss Hanes was born June 14, 1928 in Davidson County to Oscar Mack Hanes and Leslie Mae Walser Hanes. She retired from Hanes Mills and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Her brothers, Oscar Mack (O.M.) Hanes, Jr., Garland Hanes, Lacy Hanes, Stacie Hanes, James Hanes and Paul Hanes; and her sisters, Grace Kiger, Sadie Starr Floyd and Millie Myers, preceded her in death.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
