Mary Hopkins Harris

Mary Hopkins Harris, 68, of Lexington, passed away December 17, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County.

Mary was born on September 18, 1955, in Thomasville, NC, to the late Charles William Hopkins and Mary Vaughn Hopkins. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward, and Ben Hopkins; and grandson, Carlis Hopkins Jr.

Surviving are her children, Carlis (Brenda) Hopkins, Japonica Hopkins, and Virgil Black; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Carlee) Hopkins, Joseph (Joyce) Hopkins, Carlis (Patricia) Hopkins, and Ernest Dingle; and sisters, Robin Christian, Janice (Leroy) Harper, Shunda Samuels, Tina (Michael) Bailey, and Ernestine (Herbert) Holder.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 6, 2023, at 4:00 PM, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
