Mary Hazel Hedrick Hedrick, 79, of Rockcrusher Road, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cotton Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Edgar Armfield Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hedrick was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Davidson County to Jack Hedrick and Maggie Jane Tysinger Hedrick. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and owner/operator of Hazel's Beauty Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Clay Hedrick, on March 16, 2005; and by four sisters, Ila Mae Harris, Maxine Hedrick, Betty Hedrick and Carolyn Colson.
Surviving are two sons, Dallas Hedrick and his wife, Cathy, and Marty Hedrick and his wife, Revonda, all of Lexington; three grandchildren, Tiffany Stirewalt and her husband, Darrell, Martin Hedrick and Rhonda Kay Tate and her husband, Chris; six great-grandchildren, Dustin Younts, Lauren Younts, Katelynn Stirewalt, Haley Hedrick, Korbin Tate and Madison Tate; three brothers, Donald Hedrick, Bobby Hedrick and his wife, Nell, Jackie Hedrick and his wife, Darlene, all of Lexington; four sisters, Ruth Beanblossom and her husband, Joe, Louise Owen and her husband, Clifford, Linda Hedrick, and Sandra Sargent and her husband, Charles, all of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Moday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home on Rockcrusher Road.
