Mary Lillie Fulp Leonard

Mary Lillie Fulp Leonard, 90, of Goforth Lake Road, died March 16, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center, following several days of illness. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Pastors Bill Freeman and John Malek. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.  Mrs. Leonard was born January 28, 1924, in Stokes County, to Ted Fulp and Lelia Fulp. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church and had worked in the textile industry prior to retirement. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Edward Leonard, who died June 5, 1996; and sister, Estelle Lawson.  Surviving are brother, Russell Fulp of Germanton; sisters, Sylvia Stafford of Lexington, Vallie Weaver and husband Leo of Germanton, and Ola Mae Mitchell and husband Alvin of Bassett, Va.; several nieces and several nephews.
