Mary Louise Thomason

Mary Louise Varner Thomason of Sink Farm Road, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center following an illness of five weeks. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Thomason was born November 9, 1936, in Davidson County, to Wade Lee Varner Sr. and Grace Garrison Varner. She was a member of Madison Heights Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm David Thomason Jr. and grandson, Larry Gray Wafford. Surviving are sons, Stewart Scott Swing and Jerry Wayne Swing, both of Lexington; daughter, Linda Gail Wafford of Lexington; grandchildren, Michele Leford, Ashley Craver, Shane Miller, Stewart Shawn Swing, and Christy Snow Wafford; great Grandchildren, Adam Lee Davis and Hunter Gray Byrd; brothers, Bill, Wade and wife, Gail, Bobby and wife, Linda, Johnny and wife, Judy, and Roger; and sisters, Grace, Judy, and Shirley and husband, Paul
