Mary Margaret Saufley Crotts

Mary Margaret Saufley Crotts, age 76 of Greenview Lane, Lexington passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her home. A celebration of her life will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Becks Reformed Church with Rev. James Byers officiating. Inurnment will be follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Mary was born in Rockingham County, Virginia April 29, 1939 to Floyd N. Saufley and Cora Edna Craun Saufley. She was a homemaker and a member of Becks Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mandia Layne Crotts Moore who died in 1992; sister, Ruth Ritchie; brothers, Paul, Tom and Nelson Saufley. Surviving are her loving husband of 60 years, Lonnie Michael Crotts, Jr. of the home; daughter, Melody Crotts Kuehnemann and husband Terry of Fairfield, Iowa; son, Lonnie Michael Crotts, III and wife Susan of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Sarah Trainor (Andrew), Aron Dennen and Coraleigh Ungerer and husband Mark of Kansas; great-grandchildren, Luke Trainor, Sylvia Trainor and Jasper Ungerer; brothers, Warren Saufley (Sue) of Grottoes, VA, Carl Saufley (Kitty) of Mooresville, NC, Bob Saufley (Betty) of Grottoes, VA, Harry Saufley (Martha) of Hagerstown, MD and Richard Saufley (Ann) of Marion, VA.
