Mary Martin

Mary Jane Garrison Martin, 63 of Graham North Carolina, died Thursday in the Meadowlands Hospice Home in Hillsborough North Carolina after a brief illness. A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday June 23, 2009 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reggie Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery with the Rev. David Langley officiating committal services. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Martin Mary was born June 4, 1946 in Davidson County to Hubert Lee Garrison and Velna Medlin Garrison. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sons, Randy Martin and wife Lori of Lexington, and Bobby Martin and wife Christine of Indiana; one daughter Renee Martin Innes and fiancée Sport Durst of Durham; one brother Jimmy Garrison and wife Lois of Lexington and one sister Betty Liviengood of Lexington; six grandchildren Kaitlyn Martin, Jacob Martin and Nathan Martin all of Lexington, Bryson Innes and Morgan Durst both of Durham and Mariah Kerry of Indiana. Visitation will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, prior to the service. The family has requested due to flower restrictions at the National Cemetery, that memorials be made to Duke Hospice 1001 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough North Carolina 27278 in memory of Mary Martin The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Duke Hospice Staff in Hillsborough, not only for their skilled and gentle care of Mary, but also for the personal kindness that they extended to her family and friends.
