Mary Ellen Morris Peacock, 77, of Sweetbriar Dr., Lexington, died Saturday, December 18, at her home.
A Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 22, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Tim Miller. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home
Mary was born March 14, 1944 in Montgomery County to Willie Randall Morris and Sarah Catherine Hogan Morris. She worked for PPG, and later retired from Dacotah Cotton Mill. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, where she loved helping and serving her church. She was preceded by her parents, her brothers, James Morris, JC Morris, Clarence Morris, and Bobby Morris, and her sister, Pauline Hogan.
Left to cherish her memories are husband of 52 years, Johnny Peacock, of the home, her daughter, Jennifer Brunck and husband, George, of Denton; the love of her life, her grandson, Will Brunck and wife, Jenn of Denton; and her 6 precious grandchildren , Tyler Prince, Makayla Prince, Alex, Andrew, Kinsley, and Kayden Brunck; her sisters–in–law, Meriel Morris of Linwood, Mary L. Peacock and Carol Peacock, both of Lexington; her brother in law, Athel Peacock and wife, Anita, of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews
