Mary Pickett

Mary Perryman Pickett, 89 of Michael Rd., Lexington died Monday May 10, 2010 at 11:15 PM in High Point Regional Hospital after an extended illness. A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday May 13, 2010 at Forest Hill Memorial Park Garden of the Cross with the Dr. Ray Howell 3rd officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and at other times at the home of her daughter, on Michael Rd. Mrs. Pickett was born in Davidson County on January 15, 1921 to Grady Odell Perryman and Bertha Mae Yarbrough Perryman. She was retired from PPG and a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband, Ervin Allen Pickett, brother Bobby Perryman and sister, Keith Moore preceded her in death. Surviving are sons, Richard Pickett and wife Mary of Linwood, Jerry Pickett and wife Shane of Lexington and daughter, Adell Barber and husband Jim of Lexington, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, brother Richard Perry and wife Lois of Lexington, sister Ann Hedrick and husband Gerald of Lexington, sister-in-law Lois Perryman of Lexington and brother-in-law Tom Moore Florida.
