Mary Hinkle Ricker

  Mary Hinkle Ricker, age 81, of Zimmerman Road, Lexington passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Brookstone Retirement Center.    A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Welcome with Rev. Mark Blair officiating.  Burial will follow in the First Baptist of Welcome Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service and other times at the home.   Mary was born in Davidson County October 9, 1935 to Harvey Lee Hinkle, Sr. and Ruby Proctor Hinkle.  She was of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of Zag Metal.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beatrice Kearns and brothers, Harvey Lee Hinkle, Jr. and Johnny Hinkle.   Surviving are her husband, Paul Edward Ricker of the home; daughters, Bobbie Wagner (William R.) of Lexington and Pat Tillman of Welcome; son, Robert Perryman (Tina) of Lexington; step-sons, Eddie Ricker (Patsy) and Mike Ricker both of Lexington; four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Trivette (Bobby) of Lexington.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
