Mary Thomason

Mrs. Mary Younts Thomason, 94, of S. NC Highway 150, died Saturday at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 28 from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Thomason was born March 26, 1915 in Davidson County to Emory Younts and Nona Scott Younts. She retired from Lexington Furniture and was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Thomason; her sons, Timothy Thomason, Larry Thomason, Roy Thomason, and Clifford Thomason; and her brothers, Bud Younts, and Hoy Younts. She is survived by her sons, Gary Thomason and wife, Jackie, Gurney Thomason and wife, Mary, and Lester Thomason, and wife, Geraldine, all of Lexington; her daughters, Martha Broadway and husband, Troy, of Lexington, Rhonda Kay Stone and husband, Richard, and Linda Whitfield, and husband, Randy, both of Winston Salem, Della Eggleston, and husband, Jim, and Becky Crisp, both of Lexington; thirty grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
