Mary Frances Welch West of Lexington passed away on February 22, 2023, at Davidson Health and Rehab (formerly Alston Brook Nursing Home in Lexington).

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington with Pastor Jerry Bowen officiating the service.

Mary was born on August 26, 1924 in Guilford County to Henry Gray Welch and Maggie Blakley Welch.  She was a charter member at Bethany Baptist Church in Thomasville while her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles William West, son Clifford (Pat) Patterson, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.

Surviving is her granddaughter, Heather Mizell; great-grandchild Ashton Stuart, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
