Mary Louise Wilson, 79, of Bill Lohr Road, died Thursday, October 18, 2007, at her home after 10 years of declining health and a serious illness of two months.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel by the Revs. Myra Ward and Wayne Sechrest. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wilson was born January 5, 1928 in Davidson County to Ernest Hardister and Effie May Yarborough Hardister. She had retired from Stanley Furniture after 36 years of service. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Stanford Maurice Hardister; and her first husband, Theadore “Ted” Furr.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Edwin “Bud” Wilson; son, Andy Furr of Lexington; daughters, Teddy Jones, Tracy Wilson, both of Lexington, Robin Floyd of Charlotte; grandchildren, Kristie Milan, Skylar Jones, Lee Tussey, and Jeff Tussey, Nikki Houchins, Madison Floyd all of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Toshja Tussey, Cali Milan, Carter Milan ; brother, Henry Lane "Chick" Hardister of Virginia; sister, Ella Rae Jones and husband, Lloyd, of Sumter, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home at other times at the home on 489 Bill Lohr Rd.
