Matthew James Brenseke, 43 of Reedy Creek Community passed away unexpectedly Friday at his home.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Our Lady of The Rosary with Father Al Gondek officiating services. A private family burial will follow.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
Mr. Brenseke was born April 6, 1972 in Williamsburg Virginia to John William Brenseke Sr, and Nancy Webb Brenseke. Matt was a 1991 graduate of North Davidson High School, highly excelled at Davidson County Community College, and was employed with Mickey Truck Body in High Point. Matt loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and two sons. He loved to take his two sons hunting and taught them how to love wildlife and the great outdoors. He was a director of the High Rock Lake Association, and loved; fishing, boating, tubing and wake boarding while spending time there. He served as President of the Reedy Creek Boosters Club for several years and dearly loved watching and coaching the boys playing ball. Surviving are his wife of the home, his two sons Matthew and Mark of the home, his mother Nancy Brenseke of Winston Salem, two brothers; John William Brenseke Jr. and wife Becky of Lexington, Luke Brenseke of Hamptonville NC, three sisters; Nancy Brenseke of Bluffton SC, Judy Shorts and husband Alan of Charlotte NC and Bonnie Chastain and husband Danny of Clayton NC.
In lieu of flowers, an education fund will be set up for his two sons.
