Matthew Green

Steven Matthew Green, 31, of James Street, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at his home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hillside Park Baptist Church, where he attended, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Chipps officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and other time at the Parents home on Dover Road. Mr. Green was born February 13, 1981, in Davidson County, to Ricky Lane Green and Linda Michael Green. He was a 1999 graduate of Lexington Senior High School where he was a member of the varsity baseball team and the wrestling team. He was an avid four wheel driver enthusiast and loved to ride his dirt bike, play drums and was a boxing fan. Surviving in addition to his parents of Lexington are his wife, Jennifer Williams Green of the home; son, Frank Green of the home; and brother, Brent Green and wife Lynnette of Lexington.
