Matthew Kirkendall

Matthew Sink Kirkendall, the infant son of Chad and Holly Sink Kirkendall, of Sawgrass Lane, Lexington, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, shortly after his birth. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev Tommy Wilson, and Dr. Ray Howell, III officiating. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Becky Kirkendall, and Lisa and Ken Myers, all of Lexington; his great grandparents, Bayard H. and Libby Sink of Lexington; his aunts and uncles, Michael Kimbrell, and Kristi and Dave Thornhill, all of Lexington, Heather Kimbrell of Winston Salem, and Tracy Sink of California. His grandfathers, Bobby Kirkendall, and Tony Sink, and his great grandmother, Mary Kirkendall preceded him in death. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pastor’s Pantry, 307 N. State Street, Lexington NC 27292 or to First Baptist Church, PO Box 436, Lexington NC 27293.
