Maureen Buchanan Davis

Rose Maureen Buchanan Davis, 78, of Oak Dale Lane in Lexington, passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Doug McGee officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of the son at 227 Thicket Drive in Lexington.

Maureen was born February 12, 1943 in Pascagoula County Mississippi, to Kenneth Odell Buchanan and June Patzsch Buchanan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmy Edward Davis Sr.; her daughter Cindy; her brother Kenneth: and her sister Pat.

Surviving are three sons, Allen Davis (Melissa), Jimmy Davis Jr. (Ann) and Brian Davis (Misty) all of Lexington; one daughter, Sherry Freeman (Randy) of Lexington; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
