Maurice “Mac” Lee Everhart, 73, of Riverview Road in Lexington, passed away Saturday April 27, 2024 at Brookstone Retirement Center in Lexington.
There will be no formal services.
Mr. Everhart was born February 5, 1951 in Davidson County to Billy Lee Everhart and Betty Joan Ellis Everhart. Mac attended Macedonia United Methodist in Southmont and enjoyed 4 wheeling, mud bogging, fishing, and racing at Bowman Gray Stadium. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Blaise Everhart.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years Linda Carol Lemly Everhart, of the home; one son Maurice “Lee” Everhart II (Kristi) of Lexington; one daughter, Jennifer Collier (Steve) of Lexington; one sister, Sandra Everhart of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Dylan Collier (Natasha), Austin Collier (Desara), Noah Everhart and Kalei Everhart; 2 great-grandchildren, River Everhart and Charlie Everhart; and his four-legged friend, Chloe (Boo Boo).
The family would like to thank the staff of Brookstone Nursing Facility - Skilled Living Hall for their loving care of Mac.
