Maxine Crowell Beck

Lydia Maxine Crowell Beck, 88, of E. Fifth Street in Winston-Salem, formerly of Hartsville, S.C., died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Curt Hernandez. She was born April 28, 1917 in Richfield County to Chester Winfield Crowell and Kate Feezor Crowell. She was a retired hairdresser and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Beck; a son, Daniel Beck; and a sister, Becky Dowdle. She is survived by a daughter in law, Ann Beck of Winston Salem; her step grandchildren:Angie Krauch and husband, Jeffrey of Winston Salem; and Brad Busdieker and wife, Ashley, of Goldsboro The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home.
