Maxine Ivey Hickman

Maxine Ivey Hickman, 68, of Linwood Southmont Road, died suddenly Monday at her home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday April 22, 2010 at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. David Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home.   Mrs. Hickman was born July 2, 1941 in Robeson County to David Oscar Ivey and Annie Ivey. She was an avid gardener and loved collecting Angels. She was preceded in death by her parents.     Surviving are the husband Harvey Hickman of the home; two sons Charles Wayne Hickman and wife Nancy, and Danny Ray Brewer and wife Cindy both of Lexington; two daughters Carolyn Anderson and Diane Afetian both of Lexington; one brother Luther Ivey and wife Edna of Lexington; and four sisters, Jean Phillips and husband Johnny, Virginia Reagan both of Florida, Bonnie Ivey and Velma Deaton both of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.   The family will receive friends at other times at the home on Linwood Southmont Road.              Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
