Maxine Leonard Hoke, age 79 of Markwood Lane, Lexington passed away Tuesday night (October 5, 2010) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday (October 9, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Sanford officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service.   Maxine was born in Davidson County, September 15, 1931 to Brantley Leonard and Mildred Mason Leonard.  She was a retired employee of the Merita Bread Company working at the Lexington outlet for 23 year. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was preceded death by her parents, a daughter Mary Hoke Marsh and two sisters, Molly Avery and Mildred Ball.   Surviving are; her husband, Clarence Albert Hoke, Sr. of the home; one daughter, Sylvia Hoke of Lexington; one son, Clarence Albert Hoke, Jr. of Lexington; five grandchildren, Cory Hamilton, Colton Hamilton, Brandon Hoke and wife Stefanie, Alex Hoke and Austin Hoke; two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Faith Hoke.       Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
