Maxine Yarbrough Medlin

Maxine Yarbrough Medlin, age 77 of Carolina House, formerly of Comanche Trail, Lexington passed away Sunday morning (Feb. 21, 2010) at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Wednesday (Feb. 24, 2010) at the Sheets Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 3:00 pm prior to the service and other times at the home on Comanche Trail. Maxine was born in Davidson County, December 30, 1932 to Elmo Daniel Yarbrough and Veta Myers Yarbrough. She was a retired employee of Lexington Home Brands and a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carroll Floyd Medlin on December 19, 1998. Surviving are; son, Dan Medlin and wife Susan Leonard Medlin of Lexington; two sisters, Betty Ruth Myers and Becky Bloxam both of Lexington; one brother, Bruce Yarbrough of Lexington.
