Maxine Hedrick Miller

Maxine Hedrick Miller, age 86 of Beech Drive, Southmont Community passed away at home December 31, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Macedonia United Methodist Church, where she was a member with Rev. Tammy Talbert officiating. The family will receive friends in Spirit Hall at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service and at other times at the home. Maxine was born in Davidson County September 19, 1930 to Jacob Arthur Hedrick and Mattie Jane Warfford Hedrick. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 68 1/2 years, Clarence P. Miller, Jr. of the home; daughters, Karen Rhodes and Jan Fite both of Lexington; grandchildren, Jodi Correa (Edgar) of Wake Forest, NC; Dustin Rhodes of Miami, Florida and Jeni Stilwell (Seth) of Lenoir, NC; great-grandchildren, Ariana Correa, Eva Correa and Ella Stilwell.
