Maxine Everhart Shaw

Maxine Everhart Shaw, age 83 of Brookstone Retirement Center, formerly of Holly Grove Road passed away Saturday night at Brookstone.   Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Allison, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday.   Maxine was born in Davidson County December 15, 1929 to Gurley James Everhart and Allie Bessie Loman Everhart. She was a homemaker; in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Baron Shaw October 26, 1992 and a son, Kenneth Shaw.   Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Cranford (Russell) and Alice Newman all of Lexington; sons, Paul Shaw of Asheboro and James Shaw of Troy; 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Allie Shaw, Gladys Weavil and Frances Weaver all of Lexington.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
