Maxine Gobble Sowers

Martha Maxine Gobble Sowers, 92  passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Lexington Health Care. A graveside service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mrs. Sowers was born November 11, 1929, in Davidson County to the late Arthur and Ida Brinkley Gobble. She retired from Duracell and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Her husband, Henry Michael Sowers, son-in-law, Virgil Robbins, and sisters, Geneva Whitman and Johnsie Grubbs preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Johnny Michael Sowers (Dolly) and Sandra Robbins all of Lexington. Grandchildren: Jason Robbins, Allison Robbins, Aubrey Ramseur (Candice), and great-grandchildren, Allie and Olivia.

The family would like to thank Lexington Health Care and her roommate Mary for all the love and concern shown to Maxine and her family.
