May Meadows Whitlow

May Joseph Meadows Whitlow 81 of Winston Salem passed away Monday January 31, 2022 at her home. A private service will be held followed by burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Ms. Whitlow was born June 6, 1940 in Rockingham County to Elijah and Lula Lawson Meadows. She was a homemaker. Her parents preceded her in death. Also preceded by a brother, Bud Meadows and brothers in law, Robert Johnson, Paul Alverson and Mike Eggleston. Surviving are her children, her son, Rob Whitlow (Julie) and daughters, Renee Mock, Robin Cameron (Tony) and Susan Whitlow all of Winston Salem. Her grandchildren: Brooke Ford (Brian), Jimmy Head, Jeffery Mach, Maria Carden (Benjamin), Tyler Whitlow (Ana Bivona), Courtney Barnes (Ross), Keeley Whitlow, Sierra Whitlow, Caine Whitlow, Logan Whitlow, Chris Wall (Holly) and Danielle Whitlow. Her great grandchildren, Noah King, Sullivan Whitlow, Stella Whitlow, Emily Adams, Jaxon Ford, Alycia Carden, Niko Garden, Summer Carden, Lilly Carden and Ben Garden Jr.. Also surviving are a brother, Bill Meadows (Jamie), and sisters, Shirley Johnson, Connie Barnes (Jerry), Norma Alverson, Honey Rierson (Jack) and Hazel Eggleston.
