Melisa Marie Colen

Melisa Marie Colen, 16, of National Boulevard, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Davis Cemetery in Churchland by the Rev. Glenn Sanford. Miss Colen was born Dec. 21, 1989, in Davidson County to David Colen and Melisa Hoffman Colen. She had been a student at West Davidson High School until transferring recently to Lexington Senior High School. Surviving are her parents; a brother, David Colen Jr.; a sister, Kimberly Colen; and her grandmother, Gerda Colen. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington
