Melva Jean Eller Woodall

Melva Jean Eller Woodall, 78, of Linwood, passed away February 15, 2022, at her home.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Jersey Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Pastors Clyde Akers and Jackie Franks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the sanctuary.

Jean was born August 29, 1943, in Davidson County, to Mack Eller Sr and Dorothy “Dot” Bean Eller. Was a retired secretary with Piedmont Electric. Her passion was her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by all. She loves to read, travel, loved coaching kids in all kinds of sports, but most of all she loved to visit Las Vegas where she was known for pulling the handles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley Woodall Sr. who died 2003, a brother, Ernest Lee Eller.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Kenneth Franks and wife Patricia and Rick Franks all of Linwood; daughter, Jennifer Franks of Linwood; grandchildren, Cassandra Spears and husband Robbie, Maranda Owens, and husband Jeremy, Faithe Franks, and Hope Franks, and 5 great – grandchildren, also surviving her brother, Mack Eller Jr., and wife Bonnie of Thomasville.
